Yuvan Shankar Raja confirmed for Ajith-Vishnuvardhan’s project

It was something that everyone had the guesses as there could be none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja being part of Ajith Kumar’s next movie directed by Vishnuvardhan.

Today, the director has made official announcements that it’s Yuvan and Yuvan alone. This will be the sixth time that Ajith Kumar and Yuvan are coming together as they have already streaked success together in the films ‘Dheena’, ‘Billa’, ‘Aegan’, ‘Mankatha’ and yet to release ‘Billa-2’. It is also worth mentioning that Yuvan will be a part of Thala’s 52nd film as well that is produced by Vijaya Productions.

Mankatha to be re-released again in Tamilnadu

Mankatha is a film which had Ajith in the lead role which was released 2011. This Ajith’s 50th film made heavy collections than any other films released in 2011. Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Vaibhav, Premji and others have acted in this film. This film which was directed by Venkat Prabhu was produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this film. The film which was released at the end of 2011 did not do well at the box office except Mouna Guru. Mankatha is the only film which yielded heavy profits in the year 2011. So, some of the theatre owners have decided to release Mankatha once again in 2012.

Different posters for Thala’s Billa-2

When brand ‘Billa’ arrives, we all expect our Thala in same routine costumes of coat-blazers and goggles with his gang beside him. This time, ‘Billa-2’ is all about the early life of David and his journey towards becoming the most powerful mafia king. It seems that the producers have got some stills that portray Thala Ajith Kumar in a different way. The approval is yet to be done as the makers are considering many more posters with the trademark of Billa.

We have seen some of the stills that include Thala as an ordinary person sitting inside a old rugged house with serious looks while the other one has him standing on the roads beside an auto and its driver starring at something.

The stills have a local touch and thus to show the early life of David Billa.

Billa-2 updates - First Look on Pongal, Trailer in February, Audio in March and release in April

Thala fans are still drenched in Mankatha fever as the home videos across the international areas are doing greater rounds. Now the latest updates has been released by the producer Sunir Kheterapal of Billa-2 has something good news for us. Yes, 93 Days of shooting for the film has been completed with just 5 days of patch-up works left. Only Title song is pending to be shot. The shooting in Georgia has successfully wrapped up and it involves more action sequences.

Actor Vidyut Jammwal, who plays the negative role, cannot stop boasting about Thala’s performance in action sequence. Says Vidyut: ‘Hold your breaths. You will see more dare devil stunts performed by Thala. It’s gonna be action unlimited…’

Adding more about the upcoming timeline of the film, producer says that the first look posters of the film will be unveiled on Pongal followed by trailer in February with audio launch in March and worldwide theatrical release in April.

Mankatha a huge success- Top Grosser of the YEAR 2011

Mankatha is a film which has Ajith, action king Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea, Anjali and Premji Amaran in the lead role. This film was directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan Shankar Raja had composed the music. This film has completed its 100th day on 8th of this month. This film is the top grosser of the year. Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri who produced this film under the banner Cloud Nine has thanked everyone who was a part of this film. He had also offered his special thanks to Ajith for his sincerity and dedication.
